I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 20 years experience working individuals, couples, and families.  I use well-founded as well as innovative psychotherapeutic strategies including cognitive-behavioral techniques and psychodynamic approaches. In addition, I provide consultation and supervision to mental health providers.

I earned my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and Masters in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of Southern California and postgraduate training from UC Berkeley. As a clinical psychologist at the student counseling center at UC Berkeley, I served on the Eating Disorder Treatment Team and developed and led an internship program for Masters level clinicians. I have taught at UC Irvine, University of San Francisco, and UC Berkeley. I am an active member of numerous professional organizations including the American Psychological Association, California Psychological Association, Alameda County Psychological Association, The Psychotherapy Institute, Academy for Eating Disorders, Association for Eating Disorder Professionals-San Francisco, Bay Area Eating Disorders Associates, and the Children and Adults with Attention and Hyperactivity Disorder Foundation.
